Swing & Teaching Philosophy
Golf is an athletic activity, and Scott believes it should be taught that way, without overcomplication. The golf swing takes less than two seconds, so cluttering a student's mind with mechanical thoughts only gets in the way of building a repeating, powerful swing.
Scott discusses ball flight principles so students gain a concrete understanding of swing path and face position. The TrackMan system at Launch Club is the ideal tool to visually demonstrate these concepts in real time.
His focus areas include dynamic balance, body rotation, and arm position in relation to these forces. The ultimate goal: teaching every student to understand their own tendencies so they can diagnose and correct issues right on the golf course.
